Neal Scott
Principal
Ethan Powell, CFA
Principal & Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Powell has spent over two decades in financial services, primarily in Hedge Funds and Private Equity. As Principal and CIO of Brookmont Capital Management, Ethan is responsible for overseeing Brookmont’s team of investment and operational professionals, which includes responsibilities over managing and monitoring investment activity, working with external analysts, and investor relations. Ethan serves as the Chairman of the board for three mutual fund complexes with total assets of over $10 billion. Previously, Mr. Powell held several roles at Highland Capital Management Fund Advisors, L.P., including head of product and strategy, portfolio manager, and interested board chair. Mr. Powell earned his Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University. Mr. Powell was a Certified Public Accountant and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Sarthak Jain, CFA
Equity Research Analyst
Mr. Jain joined Brookmont Capital in November 2022 as an Equity Research Analyst. Prior to Brookmont, he worked as a Senior Financial Editor at Seeking Alpha, where he specialized in reviewing short selling articles and was engaged in curating financial reports on U.S.-listed equities or macroeconomic outlooks. Before joining Seeking Alpha, he worked as a Research Analyst and Consultant for Indago Research Pvt. Ltd., where he performed financial and qualitative research on publicly listed companies for U.S.-based Hedge funds and Investment management firms in an advisory capacity. Sarthak has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is an Indian national and earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from Mithibai College, Mumbai.
Robert Frizell, CFA
Vice President of Investments
Mr. Frizell joined Brookmont Capital Management in July 2023 as Vice President of Investments and is a member of Brookmont's investment committee. Mr. Frizell brings over twenty-five years of experience in the investment industry, having served as an executive in institutional equities with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse, and Citi. Mr. Frizell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the Univerity of Texas and has earned the right hand to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Suzie Begando
Trading & Compliance
Ms. Begando joined Brookmont Capital Management in August 2007 and assists the firm’s compliance efforts, equity and fixed-income trading. Ms. Begando has over thirty years of experience in portfolio management, trust administration, and trust operations. Prior to joining Brookmont Capital Management, Ms. Begando worked in the Asset Management Department at Comerica Bank. Ms. Begando earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Amberton University and an Master of Business Administration in Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of Dallas.
